A captivating 3-minute demo showcases Alterworlds, an upcoming indie puzzler promising a unique space adventure. The game's narrative centers on a galaxy-spanning search for a lost loved one.

While the premise might seem familiar, Alterworlds distinguishes itself through its compelling gameplay and striking visuals. The low-poly, cel-shaded aesthetic, reminiscent of Moebius' work, creates a retro yet visually appealing world.

The top-down perspective cleverly masks the depth of the puzzle mechanics. Players will navigate diverse planetary landscapes, from barren moons to vibrant dinosaur-inhabited worlds, utilizing jumping, shooting, and object manipulation to overcome challenges.

My only minor criticism might be the slightly awkward tutorial narration. However, this is a truly standout puzzle game. I'm eager to see Idealplay's final product, particularly its mobile adaptation.
