Bandai Namco has started sending out emails to confirm participation in the closed testing of *Elden Ring: Nightreign*, scheduled from February 14 to 17, 2025. These lucky players will be the first to dive into the game, designed specifically for a thrilling three-person cooperative mode, as detailed in the official correspondence.
Given the immense popularity of *Nightreign*, there's a surge in fraudulent activity with scammers circulating fake testing invitations. Some gamers have reported receiving emails masquerading as official Bandai Namco notifications, purporting to invite them to the testing phase. These deceptive emails often include links to counterfeit websites that mimic the look of Steam.

These fraudulent sites prompt users to log in, resulting in the loss of access to their accounts. In some instances, players have received similar scam messages from their own friends. Fortunately, some victims have successfully regained access to their accounts by reaching out to Steam support.
It's crucial to exercise caution with any links received and to verify the authenticity of the sources. If in doubt, always turn to official channels and avoid clicking on suspicious links.
In *Elden Ring: Nightreign*, players will no longer have the ability to leave messages within the game. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision in an interview, stating that the approximately forty-minute-long gaming sessions do not provide enough time for players to leave or check messages.
Due to the limited duration of the sessions, which last around forty minutes, the messaging feature has been disabled to ensure a more focused and uninterrupted gaming experience.
