Marvel Studios has unveiled the eagerly awaited trailer for *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, offering fans an exciting glimpse into what promises to be one of the most anticipated superhero films of 2025. The trailer introduces us to the iconic quartet—Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing—alongside the menacing supervillain Galactus.

The trailer kicks off with a scene set in the Baxter Building, where the team enjoys a family dinner. This setting not only showcases the film's unique 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic but also teases an epic battle looming over New York. We get a close look at Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing and his camaraderie with The Fantastic Four’s robot, H.E.R.B.I.E., as they bond over cooking.

Action-packed moments include Sue Storm demonstrating her powers as the Invisible Woman and Johnny Storm blazing through the sky as the Human Torch. However, Reed Richards, portrayed by Pedro Pascal, remains unstretched, leaving fans eager to see his elastic abilities in action.

A notable cameo in the trailer is John Malkovich, rumored to play Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost. The trailer was launched at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach met with excited fans.

Set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* also features Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. Additional cast members include Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. The film is directed by Matt Shakman and produced by Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige.

Here's the official synopsis for *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*:

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Speculation is rife among fans that Robert Downey, Jr. might reprise a role in the MCU, possibly as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, either in *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* or in a teased capacity. Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Fantastic Four will make appearances in both *Avengers: Doomsday* and *Avengers: Secret Wars*, adding to the anticipation surrounding this new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
