Final Fantasy XIV Offers Free Login Campaign Through February 6th

Final Fantasy XIV is inviting players back to Eorzea with a free login campaign running until February 6th, 2025. This campaign allows eligible players with inactive accounts to enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay. The campaign is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The four-day free play period begins the moment an eligible player logs into the game launcher. Players can verify their eligibility status through the Mog Station. This generous offer follows the recent release of Patch 7.15, which introduced new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, including the return of the popular Hildibrand series and a fresh Custom Delivery client.

Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message confirmed upcoming content, including Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates. He also teased a cryptic hint about Dawntrail's storyline progression, sparking much player speculation.

This free login opportunity provides a perfect chance for lapsed players to rejoin the action and catch up on the Dawntrail storyline before the release of Patch 7.2. Eligibility requires a previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended or canceled for violating terms of service are not eligible. The campaign officially began January 9th, 2025, at 3:00 AM Eastern Time and ends February 6th, 2025, at 9:59 AM Eastern Time.

The Mog Station is the official resource for checking account details and eligibility. While the free login event is active, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (ending January 16th) to earn a unique minion reward. Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest side series, will launch on January 21st.
