Free Fire unveils festive "Winterlands: Aurora" event

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlegrounds! This major update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and exciting seasonal events.

Koda, a young man from the arctic, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him the Aurora Vision ability. This allows him to spot enemies hidden behind cover (unless they're crouching or prone) and highlights enemy locations during parachuting.

A key addition is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails allowing for rapid movement while shooting, turning, or using throwables. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Winterlands 2024 also features Aurora Events in both game modes. In Battle Royale, find aurora-affected Coin Machines; in Clash Squad, locate aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides a team-wide buff.
