Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items, being consumables with varied uses, are limited resources.
While operations sometimes yield Combat Items, the supply often falls short. Initially, only one Combat Item can be equipped. Here's how to overcome these limitations.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then to the right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available quickly, usually obtainable by CODE level 3. Permits unlock sequentially; you must purchase one before the next appears. Equipping a Combat Item equips your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, uses all available grenades at the operation's start.
Your Accessory slot also holds one Combat Item, deployed at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing through the early missions, The Warren HUB area unlocks, containing Zakka's store. Besides weapons, Zakka sells Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions: Directly damage enemies.
- Medical Supplies: Healing, ailment cures, and ammunition replenishment.
Combat Items are individually priced; bulk purchases require substantial Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable only if you need many Medkits. Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, but this isn't a reliable farming method due to completion time and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
