NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which launched in early access in June 2024 following a global test in August 2023, is shutting down unexpectedly just months later.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date:
The official end of service date for Battle Crush is November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been halted, but refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Refund requests for Android and Steam players can be submitted between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support inquiries. Social media and Discord will be deactivated on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure:
The abrupt closure of Battle Crush is disappointing for players who invested time and effort into the game. While enjoyable, Battle Crush faced criticism regarding clunky controls and pacing issues, ultimately contributing to its premature end. The game is still available on the Google Play Store for a final playthrough before the servers go offline.
