Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Announces Open Arena Mode Testing

Unfrozen Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, offering a glimpse into the game's core mechanics, diverse units, and overall strategic gameplay. The trailer coincides with the announcement of closed beta registration for the game's "Arena" mode. Players can request access via the Steam page, with testing running from March 17th to March 28th.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is slated for Steam Early Access in Q2 2025. At launch, players can expect six distinct factions, three single-player game modes, and three multiplayer modes. Ubisoft is publishing this highly anticipated title.

Recently, Unfrozen unveiled the Dungeon faction, introducing a compelling roster of units including troglodytes, dark elves, minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and dragons. These units promise to add significant strategic depth and unique battlefield dynamics.

The development team at Unfrozen shared insights into the challenges faced while creating the Arena mode, particularly balancing hero and skill capabilities within the constraints of limited starting resources and map space. They've successfully overcome these hurdles, aiming for a balanced and engaging competitive experience.
