How to Get All Hidden Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, Monster Hunter Wilds offers a range of challenging hidden achievements to conquer. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to unlock every hidden achievement in the game.

All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds features 12 secret achievements, with seven tied to main story progression and five linked to optional objectives. Below, you'll find detailed instructions on how to achieve the optional ones.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To unlock this achievement, venture to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and look for a Baunos near the gathering spots. Shoot the screamer pods at the Baunos, then use your Capture Net to catch it. This creature, known for its shimmering appearance, will earn you the achievement.

A Prize Held High

This achievement can be achieved in various maps, but Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest is a prime location. Head to the small puddle of water and use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab lurking there. Your Palico, Alma, will often hint at nearby creatures holding valuable items, so keep an ear out for her remarks.

A Legacy Restored

As you progress into High Rank missions, you'll be able to craft Artian gear. To obtain a Rarity 8 Artian Weapon, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters using Rarity 7 gear. Gather the necessary materials and craft your weapon to unlock this achievement.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones, which are outlined in red. Tempered monsters are marked in purple on the minimap. From Chapter 4 onwards, when you enter High Rank content, start hunting or capturing these monsters. You'll need to take down 50 of them to earn the "Seasoned Hunter" achievement.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement requires you to hunt 50 Apex Predators. The following monsters are classified as Apex Predators:

  • Rey
  • Dau
  • Uth
  • Duna
  • Nu
  • Udra
  • Jin
  • Dahaad

Focus on these specific monsters to progress towards unlocking this achievement.
