Honkai Impact 3rd Unveils 'In Search of the Sun' Update

Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th! This update features Durandal's new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, along with new suits, events, and story content.

Reign Solaris: Durandal's New Battlesuit

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. Rampager unleashes devastating javelin attacks, while Skyrider sees Durandal utilizing a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, javelin throw, and powerful area-of-effect attack.

New Gear and Stigmas

Reign Solaris is perfectly complemented by the new Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These unlock enhanced QTEs and additional javelins. The Illuminating the Universe stigma set showcases Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Main Story Update: Chapter VII, Part 2

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes continues the Ten Shus War storyline on Mars. Dreamseeker and her team delve deeper into Coralie's fate and encounter a character linked to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

New Cube Game and Event

A new cube puzzle game features Vita and a younger Durandal, "Cube-ianka," battling dirty data. Rewards include 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and more. The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event brings comedic encounters with Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event involves a boss fight using drumbeats, commanding followers in battle, and even monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
