Honkai Impact 3rd Version 8.0 Launches This Month: In Search of the Sun

Honkai Impact 3rd kicks off the new year with an exciting update, "In Search of the Sun," set to launch on January 9th. This update promises to whisk you away from the winter chill to warmer climes, packed with a plethora of new content to keep you engaged until the sun graces us once more.

The highlight of this update is Durandal's new battlesuit, the Reign Solaris. This IMG-type Physical DMG dealer showcases Durandal in a smaller, more agile form, offering two distinct modes: Rampager for charging up attacks and pure brawling, and Skyrider for swift movement across the battlefield. Additionally, you can equip Durandal with her signature weapons, the Valorous Effulgence and PRI-ARM Valorous Effulgence: New Voyage, enhancing her combat prowess.

The update expands the storyline with "Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes," where the Dreamseeker and her companion delve deeper into the Mars system to investigate the Ten Shus war. Expect a mix of drama, tears, and intense action. A new minigame, the On-Duty Work Guide, challenges you to navigate Cube-ianka through a 3D grid to solve puzzles, adding a fun twist to the narrative.

But that's not all! By completing main story chapters, you can claim a share of a massive 60,000,000 Crystals, though be quick as they're drawn from a central pool. The new featured event, "Countdown: To Sweet Dreams," offers a more relaxed experience after the intensity of the main chapter, perfect for unwinding.

Familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, and Fu Hua make a return, and you'll face off against a new and bizarre boss while commanding followers in battle, reminiscent of a monster trainer. Alongside Crystals and Source Prisms, Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations, makes its debut.
