These testers were chosen to rigorously evaluate the feature before its official rollout, and recruitment for this phase is now complete, signaling that the studio is advancing towards the final development stages.

Although specifics about the hardcore mode are still under wraps, fans can anticipate a challenge akin to the original game. In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance*, the hardcore mode ramped up the difficulty by restricting save options, boosting enemy damage, complicating navigation, diminishing gold rewards, and adding negative perks.
