Game review codes will be distributed within days of the game achieving gold status in early December, according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers sufficient time for preparation, these codes are expected four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on sections of the review build, are anticipated a week after the code distribution.
The developers opted to delay the release to ensure a polished and exceptional gaming experience for players at the start of 2025. The current release date is February 4th. This postponement also strategically avoids direct competition with the February launches of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps options, with PS5 Pro optimization implemented since launch.
For PC players aiming for ultra settings, the recommended specifications are: Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
