Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including the innovative Summons mechanic, which introduces Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for aid during battles (check out Summon: Shiva in the gallery). Moreover, the set brings back double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's dual roles as Dark Knight and Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of these being legendary borderless cards, illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This highly anticipated set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal, set to launch on June 13. Accompanying the set will be four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. These decks will contain 100 cards each, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones adorned with fresh Final Fantasy art.
