Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic Leads the Fantastic Four Charge

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, will introduce Mister Fantastic as a playable character, facing off against Dracula. This marks the beginning of the Fantastic Four's arrival in the game, though not all members will debut simultaneously.

Mister Fantastic's gameplay showcases his intellect-driven combat style, utilizing his elastic abilities to grapple and pummel opponents. His ultimate ability involves a powerful, repeated aerial assault. The Invisible Woman will also join the roster at Season 1's launch, with Human Torch and The Thing expected to follow within six to seven weeks.

Leaked information suggests Human Torch's abilities will center around flame manipulation, including creating flame walls and, in conjunction with Storm, fire tornadoes. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard class character, but specifics remain undisclosed.

While speculation about future characters like Blade and Ultron abounds, NetEase has confirmed that the Fantastic Four are the only characters debuting in Season 1. This contradicts earlier leaks suggesting Ultron's inclusion at launch, now anticipated for Season 2 or later. The absence of Blade, a natural counter to Dracula, has also surprised some players.
