Monopoly Unveils Valentine's Day Update with New Rules, Quiz

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro are bringing the love to Monopoly on Android and iOS with a special update. Dive into your favorite digital board game and celebrate the season of love with an array of limited-time features.

Monopoly's Valentine's Day event introduces a unique quiz that matches you with one of four Monopoly tokens, each symbolizing a different form of love. Enjoy a 24-hour free trial with your matched token, and if you fall in love with it, you can purchase it at a discounted price post-trial.

The update also features revamped House Rules for a faster-paced game. Quick Hotels allow you to build with three houses instead of four, and Quick End concludes the game after the first bankruptcy. Additionally, Quick Jail lets you escape on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds grants each player three random properties at the start. To keep the momentum going, you'll bypass tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces.

To sweeten the deal, a new set of Cupid-inspired tokens and the Sweethearts bundle, featuring two cherubs, are ready to join your board this Valentine's Day.
