Monster Hunter Wilds is offering a second Open Beta, giving players another shot at the action and showcasing new features. Here's how to join the hunt!

New Monster, New Opportunities

Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Fear not! A second Open Beta Test is scheduled for the first two weeks of February.

Following the success of the initial beta, this second phase provides another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the news via a video on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time around, players can hunt the Gypceros, a returning favorite from the series, adding a new challenge.

Character data from the first beta carries over and can be transferred to the full game. However, progress won't be saved. Participating players receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a special bonus item pack for a smoother start.
