Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness

Have you explored Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO by Northern Forge Studios? Get ready for Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event connecting the virtual world with real-world environmental action. From September 9th to 19th, fight pollution-themed enemies and help restore polluted locations in the real world by planting trees and growing fruit.

Lend a Hand in Reducing Pollution

Terra's Legacy blends Orna gameplay with real-world environmentalism. While playing, you'll discover polluted or littered locations. Report these spots in-game, and Northern Forge will transform them into "Gloomsites"—in-game representations of real-world pollution.

At these Gloomsites, battle the Murk, a pollution-themed enemy. Defeating the Murk contributes to raising awareness about environmental issues. You'll also plant trees and cultivate Gaia apples in these areas. These apples can customize your character and enhance their magical abilities, and can be harvested by other players, fostering collaboration and rewarding community efforts. The more players who participate, the cleaner the world becomes—both in-game and in reality.

Orna's Terra's Legacy is part of the Green Game Jam 2024, an annual event uniting game developers worldwide to promote environmental awareness.
