Osmos is back on Google Play with a brand-new port after a brief absence

Osmos, the acclaimed cell-absorbing puzzle game, is back on Android! Previously removed due to playability issues stemming from outdated technology, it's been resurrected by developer Hemisphere Games with a completely revamped port.

Hemisphere Games explains in a blog post that initial Android development relied on Apportable, a porting studio that has since closed, hindering further updates. The game's removal was due to incompatibility with current (64-bit) Android systems. This new version solves that problem with a ground-up rebuild.
