Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo is also planned for iOS and Android later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This intriguing title draws inspiration from cooperative puzzlers like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Players take on the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, working together across separate locations to solve a series of interconnected puzzles. Effective communication and collaboration are key to success.
Featuring over 80 unique puzzles, an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, Parallel Experiment promises an engaging and entertaining experience. The developers have even included playful features, such as knocking on windows or poking your partner, to add a layer of lighthearted interaction.
Unraveling the Mystery!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, allowing for seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can easily communicate via platforms like Discord, the mobile version introduces new opportunities for creative in-person communication and playful distractions.
Although the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing and refinement, aiming to deliver a polished and enjoyable experience on mobile devices.
