People Can Fly, the acclaimed developer behind Bulletstorm and a co-developer of the much-anticipated Gears of War: E-Day, has entered into an exciting new agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment. This collaboration is set to bring forth a new game, currently shrouded in mystery under the codename Project Delta. As per the details released by People Can Fly, Project Delta is designated as a work-for-hire game, though specifics about the project remain under wraps.

In addition to Project Delta, People Can Fly is juggling an impressive portfolio of projects, each with its own unique codename. Among these is Project Gemini, developed in partnership with Square Enix, which unfortunately saw a reduction in its team last year. Another project, Project Echo, is being crafted with Krafton, and Project Red, which also appears to be linked with Sony, adds to their diverse lineup. The studio also recently announced that Project Bison, their VR endeavor, will mark their final venture into virtual reality gaming.

The landscape of People Can Fly's projects has seen some shifts recently. Last December, the studio decided to pause development on Project Victoria and scale back on Project Bifrost. Earlier in April, they announced the cancellation of Project Dagger, an action-adventure game that was being developed in collaboration with Take-Two Interactive.

Despite these adjustments, People Can Fly remains busy with a total of eight known projects in development. This includes the eagerly awaited Gears of War: E-Day, developed in partnership with The Coalition, though a release date for this title has yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, Project Gemini, their collaboration with Square Enix, is slated for a 2026 release.

With such a robust pipeline of projects, People Can Fly continues to be a significant player in the gaming industry, promising fans a variety of new experiences in the coming years.
