Pity System in Girls

Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is an engaging free-to-play tactical RPG that you can enjoy on both PC and mobile devices. This game features gacha elements, and if you're curious about how the pity system works across different banners, here’s what you need to know.

Will Pity Carry Over to the Next Banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium?

Yes, your pity counter and pulls on one limited banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will indeed carry over to the next limited banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid limited banners ran concurrently. Your pity counter would increase on both banners, regardless of which one you pulled on. If you were just one pull away from reaching pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to the Ullrid banner and have a 50-50 chance of obtaining Ullrid right away.

This feature will continue with future limited banners, as confirmed by players on the Chinese server via Reddit. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners conclude, your accumulated pity counter will transfer to the next limited banner that becomes available.

However, it's important to note that the pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot accumulate pulls on the standard banner and then switch to a limited banner to secure the rate-up character at pity.

Additionally, while the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, soft pity begins to take effect at 58 pulls. If you haven’t obtained an SSR unit by your 58th pull, your chances of getting one will start to increase from the 59th pull onward, culminating in a guaranteed SSR at the 80th pull if your luck doesn't improve.

We hope this clarifies how the pity system works in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more tips and detailed guides, including reroll strategies, tier lists, and how to locate the mailbox, be sure to visit The Escapist.
