PlayStation Plus Delivers 22 Spine-Chilling Horror Games

This guide explores the revamped PlayStation Plus service and its diverse game library, focusing on horror titles available across its three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. While online play requires at least the Essential tier, accessing a wider selection of horror games necessitates upgrading to Extra or Premium.

The Extra tier offers hundreds of PS5 and PS4 games, regularly updated with new additions. Premium expands this library further, incorporating classic titles from PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP. Sony's service boasts a comprehensive genre selection, ensuring a variety of options for most players, including a strong horror lineup.

Note: The December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium update did not feature new horror games. However, several titles remain available. Importantly, Resident Evil 2 will be removed from the service on January 21, 2025. Resident Evil 3, however, remains accessible. Given the relatively short campaigns in Resident Evil 2, completing it before its removal is feasible.
