The Pokémon Company has officially responded to the frustrations fans have encountered when trying to get their hands on recent Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) sets. In their latest statement, the company confirmed that reprints are on the way and they are diligently working to ensure products reach fans more effectively.

The launch of the newest set, Destined Rivals, was marred by several issues including product shortages, problems with pre-orders, and the presence of scalpers. Other recent sets like Prismatic Evolutions and the Blooming Waters box have also been highly sought after, making them challenging to acquire.

In a statement posted on the Pokémon website, The Pokémon Company (TPC) acknowledged that some fans are "experiencing difficulties purchasing certain Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) products due to very high demand impacting availability."

"We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement read. "Reprinted products are expected to be available at participating retailers as soon as possible."

TPC also announced plans to "maximize production" for future TCG expansions to enhance product availability at launch. They will "continue to reprint impacted products" to replenish stock, including at the Pokémon Center.

In addressing the issue of scalpers, The Pokémon Company outlined their commitment to providing a seamless purchasing experience at the Pokémon Center. They employ technology, such as a virtual queue during periods of high traffic, to prioritize fans. "We will continue to explore measures that help create the best possible experience for Pokémon Center customers," the company stated. They also expressed gratitude to the community for their ongoing support and patience as they work to improve the delivery of Pokémon TCG products to fans.

With these assurances from The Pokémon Company, there is hope that collecting and playing the Pokémon TCG will become less stressful with the arrival of new sets.
