The Pokémon TCG Pocket Lapras EX Drop Event: A Comprehensive Guide

Pokémon TCG Pocket continuously expands its card collection with new events, introducing exciting variants and cards. This guide covers everything about the Lapras EX drop event.

Event Duration:

The Lapras EX drop event runs from November 5th to November 18th, 12:59 a.m. ET. Players can participate in special battles to acquire new card variants and the coveted Lapras EX. Additional rewards include Pack Hourglasses for opening more booster packs.

How to Participate:

Update your Pokémon TCG Pocket app to the latest version.
Navigate to the Battles tab and select Solo.
Choose the "Lapras EX Drop Event" category.

Four AI battles await, each featuring a different Lapras EX deck. First-clear rewards are granted for each battle, with additional chance rewards obtainable through repeated battles.

Decks and Challenges:

The event includes four battles with varying deck compositions and challenges. Rewards include Event Hourglasses (replenish event stamina) and Wonder Hourglasses (replenish Wonder Pick stamina).

Event Hourglass Usage:

Event stamina, consumed per battle, refreshes every 12 hours (max 5). Earned Event Hourglasses replenish this stamina.

Recommended Decks and Strategies:

A Pikachu EX deck is highly effective due to the Lapras EX decks' vulnerability to Lightning attacks. Consider using Helioptile/Heliolisk or Magnemite/Magneton lines for less rare card challenge completion.

Promo Pack Rewards:

Promo Packs contain one card each: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras EX (a new card). Lapras EX stats: 140 HP, Bubble Drain (2 Water, 1 Colorless), 80 damage, heals 20 damage, 3 Retreat Cost.
