Pokémon GO Adventure Week 2024: Epic Encounters and Mega Rewards Await!

Get ready for an exhilarating experience as the Adventure Week event returns to Pokémon GO in 2024, bringing with it a slew of exciting in-game rewards. After a thrilling July, August promises even more action.

What’s In Store?

Mark your calendars! The Adventure Week event kicks off on Friday, August 2nd at 10 am and lasts until Monday, August 12th. This year's focus is on Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon, giving you ample opportunities to catch these ancient and formidable creatures in the wild. You can also hatch them from 7 km Eggs and encounter them through themed Field Research tasks.

A major highlight of this year's event is the increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon, including the iconic Aerodactyl. Other Rock-type Pokémon such as Diglett and Bunnelby will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Keep your eyes peeled—you might just run into an Aerodactyl during your adventures.

The 7 km Eggs are another exciting feature, with the potential to hatch Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Completing themed Field Research tasks will not only give you encounters with these Pokémon but also reward you with Mega Energy for Aerodactyl.

During Adventure Week, spinning PokéStops will earn you double XP in Pokémon GO, with an impressive five times XP for the first spin of the day. If you're a fan of hatching Pokémon, you'll be pleased to know that you'll earn double XP for that as well.

What Else Is New?

Adventure Week also introduces new PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges, which come with rewards like Stardust, encounters, and additional Mega Energy for Aerodactyl. Additionally, five-star raids will feature Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas.

And don't miss out on Poplio being featured as August’s Community Day Pokémon. There’s also a Classic Community Day and a special event tied to the Pokémon World Championship. So, prepare for an action-packed week and download the game from the Google Play Store.
