PUBG Mobile’s Esports World Cup tournament has concluded its first stage, leaving 12 teams vying for a share of the $3 million prize pool. Twenty-four teams initially competed, but after a weekend of intense matches in Saudi Arabia, the field has been halved.

This tournament is part of Gamers8, a major esports event held in Saudi Arabia, showcasing some of the world’s most popular games. Currently, Alliance leads the pack as the competition moves into its final stage. The remaining 12 teams will enjoy a one-week break before resuming competition from July 27th to 28th.

While the PUBG Mobile World Cup's overall impact on fans remains to be seen, its prominence within the Gamers8 event has generated significant news. However, it's worth noting that this isn't the largest event on PUBG Mobile's esports calendar, and other major competitions are scheduled for later this year.

For those eager for more action, the 12 eliminated teams will compete in the Survival Stage on July 23rd and 24th, battling for two coveted spots in the main event. This promises to be a thrilling showdown.
