Season 5 of Monster Hunter Now: The Blossoming Blade Arrives Soon!

Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting launch with its Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has shared all the details we need to know. Set to kick off on March 6th, 2025, this season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and a roster of new monsters.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

Before the official start of Season 5, players can look forward to a special event with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This creature is making its debut ahead of its first appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When the season officially launches, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the fray, adding to the excitement.

Weapons in Monster Hunter Now are set to receive balance tweaks to enhance the viability and fun of each type. The Sword & Shield, for instance, is getting a significant buff that will make targeting breakable parts like tails much easier. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward players with stronger performance for well-timed taps, resulting in more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also seeing improvements. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will effectively reduce the damage taken when blocking. More details on these tweaks and others will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.

And There Is More!

For those struggling with inventory management, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 offers relief with an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This expansion will add an extra 250 slots to your inventory, making it easier to store your gear and resources.

Additionally, as part of Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for various rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
