Severance Season 3 Officially Renewed by Apple

Apple has officially announced the renewal of the critically acclaimed series *Severance* for a third season. Created by Ben Stiller and Dan Erickson, this sci-fi psychological thriller has become the most popular show on Apple TV+, with its second season achieving record-breaking viewership. Ben Stiller expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “Making *Severance* has been one of the most creatively exciting experiences I’ve ever been a part of. While I have no memory of this, I’m told making Season 3 will be equally enjoyable, though any recollection of these future events will be forever and irrevocably wiped from my memory as well.”

Adam Scott, who stars in and executive produces the show, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I couldn’t be more excited to get back to work with Ben, Dan, the incredible cast and crew, Apple, and the whole *Severance* team. While a release date for Season 3 has not yet been announced, Ben Stiller assured fans during an appearance on the *New Heights* podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce that the wait won't be as long as the three-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2. “No, the plan is not to [wait three years],” Stiller said. “Definitely not. Hopefully we’ll be announcing what the plan is very soon. That will not be that!” He attributed the previous delay to the writers’ and actors’ strikes and the extensive shooting and editing schedule, which spanned 186 days for Season 2.
