The latest teaser for *The Sinking City 2* has unveiled exciting core gameplay elements, including intense combat, immersive location exploration, and intriguing investigations. These features are set to be central to the gaming experience. Keep in mind, the footage shown is from the pre-alpha stage, so expect enhancements in gameplay, graphics, and animations as the project progresses.
As a survival horror sequel, *The Sinking City 2* picks up directly where the original left off. The narrative takes players to the city of Arkham, now engulfed by a supernatural flood that has led to its downfall and turned it into a breeding ground for monstrous creatures.
To bolster development and ensure the project's success, Frogwares has initiated a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise €100,000 (around $105,000). These funds will not only expand their development capabilities but also enable them to reward loyal fans and engage players in playtesting sessions to fine-tune the game before its launch. The game is being crafted using the powerful Unreal Engine 5.
Mark your calendars: *The Sinking City 2* is slated for a 2025 release, and it will be available on next-gen consoles (Xbox Series and PS5) as well as on PC via Steam, EGS, and GoG.
