*Sonic Rumble* marks the franchise's debut into the realm of multiplayer party gaming, where up to 32 players can vie for supremacy across a variety of challenging levels and game modes. Sega describes the experience as follows: "Players control a character from the Sonic series as they navigate a toy world crafted by the nefarious Dr. Eggman, tackling perilous obstacle courses and battling in hazardous arenas!"
