However, a big name alone isn't a guarantee of success. Today, Mountaintop Studios announced its closure and the imminent shutdown of the shooter's servers.

The studio will officially cease operations by the end of this week, with the game's servers staying online for just under a month. During this period, Mountaintop Studios will process refunds for all player purchases. Unfortunately, Spectre Divide struggled to build a substantial player base and generate sufficient revenue to sustain its operations.
