The spotlight is firmly on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos, promising an action-packed weekend of hunting and rewards.
What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?
Spring Hunt 2025 is an exclusive event that you can access by purchasing an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket grants you access to a series of uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, featuring none other than Chameleos. No more waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons—just continuous action against the elusive dragon. As an added bonus, you'll have the opportunity to claim exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.
The event introduces Event Exchange Hubs, with two hubs available for the Spring Hunt. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons from May 19th to May 25th. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?
Chameleos, renowned for its stealth and ability to cloak itself in a mysterious fog that impairs visibility, is the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players will have the chance to engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions and face off against this vanishing menace.
If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they reach a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. To take down this beast effectively, arm yourself with weapons and strategies that exploit its vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements.
Defeating Chameleos will allow you to craft the new Mizuha Set armour, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects by half and makes it easier for you to inflict poison on your targets.
The materials from Chameleos can be used to craft an extensive range of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. Make sure to download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025.
