Today's Xbox showcase surprised viewers with a visit from the mischievous Jimbo, bringing exciting news: Balatro is now available on Xbox Game Pass! Joining the fun are some of Jimbo's newest friends.
A showcase trailer revealed Balatro's latest "Friends of Jimbo" update, introducing a fresh batch of face card customizations. The trailer showcased cards featuring Bugsnax, Civilization, Assassin's Creed, Slay the Princess, Friday the 13th, and Fallout.
Previous "Friends of Jimbo" updates added characters and themes from *The Witcher*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, *Among Us*, *Divinity: Original Sin 2*, *Vampire Survivors*, *Stardew Valley*, and more. This marks the fourth such update, all purely cosmetic—no gameplay alterations expected.But the big news is Balatro's immediate arrival on Xbox Game Pass. Previously available for purchase on Xbox, this makes the addictive card-slinging gameplay even more accessible. Jimbo would approve.
