TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Now on Mobile, No Netflix Needed

The beloved classic, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, has now made its way to mobile devices. Although it's been available for a couple of years, initially launched as a Netflix exclusive in June 2023, Playdigious has now released a standalone version on Android that you can enjoy without needing a Netflix subscription.

Similar to its Netflix counterpart, this mobile edition of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge comes packed with the entire game, including all its features and content. It seamlessly integrates the Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles DLCs.

For fans of the original ‘80s TMNT, Shredder’s Revenge offers a nostalgic journey back to the classic arcade-style side-scrolling action, complete with a charming retro pixel art aesthetic.

However, the game isn't stuck in the past. It features enhanced combat mechanics that allow players to execute ninja combos and team up for cooperative attacks, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience.

The full roster of iconic characters is present in Shredder’s Revenge. You can play as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones, each bringing their unique flair to the game.

What’s the Setting?

The adventure begins with Bebop and Rocksteady wreaking havoc at Channel 6, stealing mysterious technology. From there, players navigate through 16 stages, each inspired by iconic TMNT locations, battling classic villains like Baxter Stockman and the Triceraton along the way.

Playdigious has published the game, with Nickelodeon, Tribute Games, and Dotemu managing the development and backend operations. The full version is currently available at a launch discount price of $7.99, down from its regular price of $8.99. You can find and download the game on the Google Play Store.
