From time to time, *League of Legends* (*LoL*) surprises players with a limited-time minigame that adds a fresh twist to the usual gameplay loop. The latest addition is the Demon’s Hand card game—a strategic and engaging side mode where knowing how to get Sigils can make your journey much smoother.
What Are Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL?
Sigils are special stones that grant you unique abilities during the Demon’s Hand minigame. You can activate up to six at once, each offering its own advantage. These effects can either enhance your hand or weaken your opponent, helping you conserve health and push further into the game. Once triggered by playing specific hands, these bonuses apply automatically, giving you an edge in battle.
The order of your Sigils matters depending on the opponent you’re facing. As you explore the map and preview upcoming enemies, you may notice certain effects influencing the match. Some reduce damage based on the number of cards played, while others prevent suits from contributing their numerical value to damage calculations.
More notably, some opponents possess abilities that directly affect your Sigils—such as disabling the first one in your list. This means the Sigil placed at the top of your selection won’t activate during that fight. To counter this, rearranging your Sigils before combat ensures that the disabled one isn’t critical to your strategy.
How To Get Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL
Acquiring new Sigils is straightforward—you can buy them from the Sigil Shop located on the map, marked by two coin icons. Upon arrival, you’ll be presented with three Sigil options of varying strength and cost. If none catch your eye, you can refresh the shop for 1 coin and browse a new set. Additionally, unwanted Sigils can be sold back to free up space, which comes in handy when your Sigil box is full and you want to upgrade.
That’s everything you need to know about Sigils in the Demon’s Hand for *League of Legends*. If card games aren’t your thing, keep an eye out for the next round of April Fools’ Day skins coming soon to Summoner’s Rift!
