A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.

Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh installment marks the 29th overall comic release, including special events and themed stories. The release is particularly significant, as it follows a seven-year hiatus since the last TF2 comic in 2017.

Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the original builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players "only" had to wait seven years.

The new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the ongoing storyline, and there's strong indication that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, mentioning "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly suggests this. Nevertheless, players can enjoy a satisfying ending and a dose of festive cheer.
