Witcher 4 Creators Support Blood of Dawnwalker Authors, No Competition with Rebel Wolves

Gamers have taken notice of *The Blood of Dawnwalker* and are drawing parallels with *The Witcher 4*. This is largely due to the fact that the project was crafted by former CD Projekt Red (CDPR) employees, which is evident in the similar ambiance and style. Following the release of the first trailer, fans have been eagerly discussing which game might prove more successful. However, both the developers and their former colleagues maintain that such comparisons are unwarranted. An X user aptly stated:

"Dawnwalker looks amazing, just like The Witcher 4. Both works can exist together. One game doesn't mean the other is dead. It's not a competition. Let's show respect."

Patrick K. Mills, a veteran from *The Witcher 3* and *Cyberpunk 2077* mission teams, weighed in on the conversation. He stressed that there is no rivalry between the teams:

"Anyone who tries to compare these games is doing the devil's work. The teams have a long history together, we hang out together, we play games together, our group chats are full of praise for each team. There's nothing but love here. The culture war will remain a culture war, but these games share a common origin and common values."

Philippe Weber, the narrative director for *The Witcher 4*, also chimed in, noting the similarities in the trailers for both games:

"Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz and I were joking today about how the eyes in the dark in our two trailers were used as references to the TV series *Midnight Mass* to sell the idea early on. Many of the creators of the two games are friends, and we love seeing our friends succeed!"

Rebel Wolves has embarked on an ambitious journey to create a new series of games that can stand toe-to-toe with established franchises. Judging by the first trailer, *The Blood of Dawnwalker* shows promise to be as impressive as CDPR's renowned works.
