Since the rollout of Patch 11.1 on the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm, players have been able to explore this innovative system, including the initial set of backgrounds and their acquisition methods. Alongside the original Warbands character selection screen named Adventurer’s Rest, Patch 11.1 introduces four new campsites: Ohn’ahran Overlook, Cultists’ Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery. New Campsites in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1

The Ohn’ahran Overlook, set in the Ohn'ahran Plains from Dragonflight, is automatically obtained by logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay, found in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall, can be earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. The Freywold Spring, located in Freywold Village, and the Gallagio Grand Gallery, featured in the new raid Liberation of Undermine, are unlocked by completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.

Players can easily preview and unlock these campsites through a new tab in the Collections pane. Additionally, the character select screen now includes a dedicated tab for campsites, allowing players to select their preferred backgrounds or opt for a random choice each time they log in.

These customizable character selection screens build upon the foundation established by the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within.
