Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures
Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The January additions include a mix of genres, catering to various tastes.
New Games Arriving in January 2025:
The announcement, made via the official Xbox blog on January 7th, 2025, features seven new games:
- Road 96: Available now (January 7th) across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This choice-driven adventure game makes a welcome return after a previous stint on the service.
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Arriving January 8th. This sci-fi farming sim is available with a standard subscription.
- My Time at Sandrock: Launching January 8th for standard subscribers.
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Also available January 8th with a standard subscription.
- Rolling Hills: Joining the lineup on January 8th, accessible with a standard subscription.
- UFC 5: Arriving January 14th, exclusively for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
- Diablo: Also launching January 14th, but limited to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.

New Game Pass Ultimate Perks:
Alongside the new games, several new perks for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are available as of January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th, 2025:
As new games arrive, some must depart. Microsoft confirmed the following six titles will be leaving the service on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
