READY! for Kindergarten: The Leading School Readiness Program

READY! for Kindergarten is The Children's Reading Foundation's top-rated school preparedness program, designed for children aged 2-5, and older children needing extra support in foundational skills.

This interactive app uses engaging games to build essential skills for future academic success. Each game focuses on a specific skill, encouraging repeated play—a key element in early childhood learning. The app provides detailed information on each game's learning objective (access this via the "i" icon in the lower right corner of each game).

Track your child's progress with detailed reports. The app monitors performance and compares it to national averages for children of the same age, helping you identify areas needing extra attention.

For 2-5 year-olds, the app covers key skills like singing the alphabet song, letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary expansion, counting to 30, and emotional awareness.

The READY! program is built on 26 age-appropriate learning targets, based on seven years of research and collaboration with early childhood experts, families, scientists, and educators. These targets represent the skills a typical 5-year-old needs for kindergarten readiness.

READY! for Kindergarten received a Top 100 Award from District Administration Magazine in 2013.
