SmartMobility

This app, developed in collaboration with Safe Toddles (https://www.safetoddles.org/), a non-profit dedicated to improving mobility for visually impaired children, provides interactive lessons designed to enhance walking and orientation skills. The program utilizes the Pediatric Belt Cane, also a Safe Toddles creation, and incorporates a wearable IMU sensor.

The app features a structured curriculum of lessons, each with corresponding activities and post-lesson feedback questionnaires. The IMU sensor attached to the cane transmits data to the app, where an AI module analyzes it to assess the child's developmental walking age.

This assessment is used to personalize the learning experience, dynamically adjusting the lesson plan to meet the individual child's specific needs and progress.
