Among Us 3D: Classic Multiplayer Game Launching Soon, No VR Needed

In 2022, Innersloth transformed the Among Us experience with the release of a virtual reality adaptation, which received widespread acclaim. Now, the studio is set to take the game in another thrilling direction with Among Us 3D, offering a fully immersive first-person perspective without the need for a VR headset.

Players can look forward to the same core mechanics they've grown to love, but reimagined for traditional gaming setups. A teaser trailer provides a sneak peek, illustrating how tasks, meetings, and sabotage will be experienced through the eyes of your character. Fans will have the opportunity to explore this new mode during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available for testing.

While an official release date is yet to be announced, Among Us 3D will launch on PC as its primary platform. It will be optimized for keyboard and mouse controls, featuring an updated interface designed to improve accessibility. Cross-play functionality will enable users of Among Us 3D to connect and play with those on Among Us VR, though the original Among Us will remain separate from these versions.

To enhance the player experience further, Innersloth is planning to introduce a new in-game currency called Stardust within the next few months. This addition will broaden customization options, allowing players more ways to personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's continuous evolution.
