Following developer TRAGsoft's mobile release of the monster-collecting game Coromon after its PC and Switch debut, the studio is now developing a roguelite spinoff titled Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Scheduled for release next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, this new installment blends the original's turn-based combat with roguelite elements for endless replayability.
The Steam page reveals the game will feature 10 procedurally generated biomes, 7 playable characters, and over 130 monsters. While the original Coromon remains free-to-play on mobile, questions remain about Rogue Planet's mobile implementation and whether it will launch simultaneously across all platforms.
Currently available for wishlisting on Steam, Coromon: Rogue Planet promises more dynamic gameplay than its predecessor, making it ideal for quick play sessions. Until its release, players can enjoy the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on this roguelite adaptation? Have you played the original game?
