Lost Records: "Bloom and Rage" Now Unveiled

Don't Nod, the French studio behind Life is Strange, has launched the initial chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can currently experience "Tape 1," with "Tape 2" launching as a free update for all owners on April 15th.

Initially unveiled in 2023, the game centers on a close group of friends shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the echoes of that summer resurface, unleashing unforeseen and terrifying repercussions.

Inspired by It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game expertly blends nostalgic elements with a chilling psychological thriller narrative. The developers have structured the game into two parts – "Bloom" and "Rage." Currently, only "Bloom," the first half of this captivating story, is available (as of February 18th).

"The Tape," encompassing the second part, will be released on April 15th. Initially scheduled for March, the release was delayed to guarantee a higher quality experience.

The review embargo has been lifted, and OpenCritic shows an average score of 74/100, suggesting a promising start for this gripping mystery.
