Genesis: Cyberpunk Card Game with Living Cards

After two years in early access on PC, Mutants: Genesis has officially launched. The game is now available on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, it's an online card game where the cards literally come to life.

What Is Mutants: Genesis?

In Mutants: Genesis, you enter a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues. You'll build decks and summon mutants that transform into animated creatures battling in holographic arenas.

You play as a Psycog, a strategic commander of genetically modified mutants in fast-paced battles. As the new leader of the Panakeia team, you'll travel the world to compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League.

Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions and unlock additional cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities. So, despite being a card game, it emphasizes adaptation, planning, and evolving your tactics with each turn.

Mutants: Genesis features over 200 cards divided into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene focuses on machinery and precision, offering mutants that repair themselves and attack swiftly using mechanics like Self-Repair and Dual Core.

In contrast, Necro introduces a darker theme, turning death into a weapon. It includes cards that return stronger after defeat and unique resources like Bones to empower your forces.

Blades rewards sharp tactical thinking, utilizing Orbs and condition-based abilities to shift the battle's momentum. Zoo embodies chaos, with mutants rushing in, evolving rapidly, and delivering surprises as they advance.

Space brings a militaristic style, concentrating on squad unity and fortress-like defenses. Then there's Mystic, where magic dominates the battlefield, offering powers like Burn and Stasis to control the fight's tempo while summoning mythical beings.

Mutants: Genesis Offers Plenty of Content

PvE players can team up with two others to tackle massive boss fights or enter Temporal Rifts for weekly challenges. PvP players can climb through eight ranked tiers in a competitive ladder that resets monthly.

Additionally, the game provides seasonal rewards, regular balance updates, and opportunities to rank among the top Psycogs. Everything from PvP victories to co-op runs earns rewards such as new cards and crafting materials.
