Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!
After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial PC release two years ago. For those unfamiliar, think cassette tapes – those retro music players your parents might remember!
Gameplay Overview:
The game begins with you stranded on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures to battle them. The island's very existence seems tied to cassette tapes.
Your mission: escape New Wirral. To do this, you'll use your cassette player to record monsters, then play them back to transform into those monsters yourself.
Form alliances with Harbourtown's inhabitants to fuse monster forms and create unique hybrid creatures. The fusion possibilities are virtually limitless!
Exploration and Combat:
New Wirral offers a vast world to explore, filled with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. Master abilities like gliding, swimming, climbing, and even magnetism to uncover all the island's secrets.
Combat is turn-based and features an intricate elemental system. Strategic element combinations can disrupt enemies, enhance your team, or even alter an opponent's elemental type mid-battle.
Bluetooth controller support is included, though minor issues may arise. Best of all, Cassette Beasts is free-to-play, available now on the Google Play Store.
