After nearly ten years of eerie revelations and intricate puzzle-solving, Holly Stonehouse's harrowing journey nears its climax. Indie studio Goblinz Enterprises and publisher The Digital Lounge have revealed True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 3 coming to mobile devices.
The Android version launches on July 3, 2025, with pre-registrations now open. For PC players, Part 3 has been available on Steam since April 21. Newcomers should consider starting with the first two installments for the full experience.
What Awaits in True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 3?
This trilogy finale plunges Holly deeper into her family's disturbing legacy, continuing directly from Part 2's cliffhanger. The saga began in 2016 when Holly received a cryptic letter from her missing sister Dahlia.
Her investigation led first to the enigmatic Stonehouse Manor in Part 1, then to the horrifying Dark Falls Asylum in 2018's Part 2, where her family's sinister past unraveled further.
Part 3 promises to deliver shocking revelations about Dahlia's disappearance, their mother's mysterious death, and the supernatural entity haunting Holly throughout the series.
Masterclass in Psychological Terror
The franchise excels in slow-burn psychological horror through immersive point-and-click gameplay and environmental storytelling. Rather than cheap jump scares, it builds tension through atmospheric dread and meticulously crafted puzzles.
As with previous entries, players will scour eerie locations where every document, hidden object, or piece of footage might reveal crucial story elements. Part 3 reportedly expands on cinematic storytelling with more elaborate narrative-driven puzzles.
