Machine Yearning: A Brain-Teasing Robot Job Simulation from Tiny Little Keys
Prepare for a mind-bending challenge unlike any other! Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning, tasks you with a job usually reserved for robots – proving your human capabilities in a world dominated by machines.
Tiny Little Keys, an American studio founded by former Google Machine Learning Engineer and lifelong gamer Daniel Ellis, is set to release Machine Yearning on September 12th.
What is Machine Yearning?
In Machine Yearning, you'll apply for a robotic position, facing a CAPTCHA designed to weed out human imposters. The game challenges your memory and processing speed, pushing your cognitive abilities to their limits. Expect a 2005-era level of brainpower to succeed!
The gameplay starts with simple word-shape associations, gradually increasing in difficulty as you progress. More words, colors, and complex relationships will test your recall.
Master the challenges, and you'll unlock a rewarding system: customizing your robotic workforce with an array of hats! From archer hats to cowboy hats and even straw hats, the possibilities are endless. See the game in action below!
Will You Take the Challenge?
Initially showcased at Ludum Dare, a renowned indie game jam, Machine Yearning won top awards for "most fun title" and "most innovative title." Learn more on their official website.
Launching September 12th on Android, this free-to-play game promises a unique and engaging experience. While it might not actually transform your brain into a supercomputer (we promise!), it's sure to provide a stimulating challenge. Don't forget to check out our other gaming news!
