Despite this acknowledged cannibalization of sales (admitted by Microsoft itself), the service isn't without its advantages. Games featured on Xbox Game Pass can experience a boost in sales on other platforms, like PlayStation. The accessibility of Game Pass allows players to sample titles they might otherwise overlook, potentially leading to increased purchases elsewhere.
